Below, we’d like to highlight some of our extraordinary endowed scholarship opportunities available to new incoming full-time traditional undergraduate students at Regis University for Fall 2026. The deadline to apply is March 2, 2026.

  • Review each scholarship and apply if you are eligible.
  • If an essay is required, please follow the prompt.
  • Your scholarship essay(s) must be different from your admissions application essay.
  • You may use the same essay for multiple scholarship submissions, if applicable, but don't forget to address the specific scholarship requirement(s) for each scholarship you apply for.
  • If you are applying for more than one endowed scholarship, please upload a separate document for each scholarship. You may use the single upload button to upload multiple files. Each document should have your name and scholarship name, at the top of the first page and as the file name (for example: YourName_ScholarshipName.doc).

    This helps our review committee easily identify the materials for each scholarship.

Scholarships are competitive and funds are limited. Please note that applying for a scholarship does not guarantee an award.

The Collins Scholarship is intended to help provide financial support for an incoming, traditional freshman student who demonstrates achievement, good character, and hopes to use their Jesuit education in service of others. While financial need is not a primary consideration for this scholarship, we strongly encourage applicants to submit their 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a resident in rural Colorado, preferably from Cheyenne County
  • Provide a personal statement or essay reflecting on your achievements in high school and how your education at Regis University will help prepare you for your future career in service of others. Your essay must be different from your admissions application essay.
    • Letter(s) of recommendation are encouraged but not required.

The Weber Scholarship is intended to assist talented incoming freshmen students pursue excellence in science, specifically for students who plan to major in Biology or Chemistry.

Ways to demonstrate your interest and ability in the sciences include:

  • High school transcripts reflecting strong academic performance in specific science courses. Special consideration granted for Honors, AP, or IB science courses.
  • Academic awards or honors from high school or community
  • Participation in science clubs or activities

We encourage you to submit items such as a resume, personal essay, letters of recommendation, or documentation of honors, awards, and participation in science-related clubs or events.

For consideration, you must:

  • Have a 3.5 or higher high school GPA and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA throughout your undergraduate program at Regis University
  • Major in either Chemistry or Biology at Regis University

The Ignatian Leadership Scholarship aims to provide scholarship assistance to deserving incoming freshmen traditional students from Colorado who demonstrate financial need and potential ability in religious leadership. Your scholarship application must include the following:

  • An essay addressing your involvement in ministry and religious leadership, as well as your intent to major in Religious Studies at Regis University
  • 1-2 letters of recommendation reflecting your involvement in ministry and religious leadership activities

For consideration, you must:

  • Have a 3.0 or higher GPA in high school and maintain a cumulative 3.0 GPA once you are a student at Regis University.
  • Submit your 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to document financial need, as well as renew your FAFSA annually by March 1 showing continued financial need.
  • Declare a major in Religious Studies at Regis University.
  • Demonstrate evidence of serving in University Ministry and/or community ministry.

The Irish Community Scholarship is open to all eligible students. You do not need to be Irish to apply. To be considered for the Irish Community Scholarship, you must:

  • Submit your 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). While financial need is not the only consideration for this scholarship, preference for this scholarship may be granted to students based on financial need.
  • Have a 3.0 or higher high school GPA
  • Submit a 1,500-to-2,000-word essay on Irish history or the impact of the Irish – either an individual or a group – on the United States.
    • Essays shorter than 1,500 words or longer than 2,000 words will not be considered.
    • You must cite any sources used in your essay.
    • Personal family history or Irish family members may be referenced, but should not be the focus of your essay, unless your family member directly impacted or was associated with impact on the United States.

The scholarship may be renewed provided you maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA at Regis University and renew your FAFSA annually by March 1.

This scholarship is awarded based on high academic merit to incoming freshman students exhibiting strong academic credentials and character. High academic merit and exceptional character may be documented through the following:

  • High school GPA 3.75 or above
  • AP/IB/dual-credit classes
  • Academic awards or honors from high school or community, including extra-curricular activities and leadership positions

We encourage you to submit items such as a resume, personal essay or letters of recommendation.

The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance for incoming, first-year, traditional undergraduate students who document financial need. We hope to find recipients with an intended major in Communication, English, Creative Writing, Political Science or Sociology, as well as a student who has an interest in Irish or other cultural traditions through any form of cultural engagement, such as participation in related community events, clubs or coursework.

For consideration, you must:

  • Be on track to graduate from a Denver-metro area public high school or from rural high school in Colorado
  • Have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA
  • Submit your 2026-27 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and document financial need
  • Plan to major in Communication, English, Creative Writing, Political Science or Sociology
  • Demonstrate an interest in Irish or other cultural traditions through any form of cultural engagement, such as participation in related community events, clubs or coursework by providing a resume, personal statement and/or letter(s) of recommendation reflecting your involvement in Irish or other cultural traditions

This scholarship may be renewed if you:

  • Maintain a cumulative 2.75 GPA or higher as a Regis University student
  • Renew your FAFSA annually by March 1 and document financial need
  • Document your major in Communication, English, Creative Writing, Political Science or Sociology

The Witchger Scholarship is intended to support an incoming traditional student who plans to major in Business Administration and demonstrates high financial need to assist them in obtaining a Jesuit liberal arts education with the aim of developing the whole person.

To be considered for the scholarship, you must:

We encourage you to submit a personal essay, different from your admissions application essay, detailing your career goals with your Business Administration focus and how a Jesuit education will help you achieve those goals.
