The Bachelor of Arts in Spanish explores the diversity of Spanish cultures and includes the study of language, literature, and history of the Spanish-speaking world in the Americas and Spain. This degree seeks to advance proficiency in all linguistic skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing combined with the development of multicultural awareness through the analysis of literary and non-literary texts. The Modern Language Department highly recommends students study abroad as part of the Spanish major.

Foreign Exchange Trader

Foreign Exchange Traders are responsible for the purchase of foreign currencies. Foreign Exchange Traders should expect to keep record of all their currency purchases and follow regulations.

How to Apply

To apply to the B.A. Spanish program, you will need:

  • Completed online application
  • Official high school transcripts

The first step in the application process is to contact an admissions counselor, who can help you through the entire application process, evaluate your prior learning credit (AP, IB, etc.) and provide information regarding financial aid and tuition assistance.

Tuition and Fees

Full-time tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year: $47,490/year (fall and spring semesters)
Part-time tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year (less than 12 credit hours per semester): $1,583/credit hour
