Peter has worked as a health care chaplain for the last ten years in the Denver Metro area, serving in hospice and adult and pediatric acute care contexts. Originally from New Jersey, Peter married his spouse in Colorado, and they have a 5-year-old daughter, Lorelai, and a rescue dog named Shiloh.

Caitlin serves as the Vice President for Mission Integration at Saint Joseph Hospital and Mount Saint Vincent. Her areas of responsibility include the work of Spiritual Care, Ethics, caregiver formation, history and heritage, and Community Benefit.

Sr. Julia Prinz, VDMF, Ph.D.

Affiliate Faculty and Curriculum Development Lead
Julia is a German religious sister in the international congregation Verbum Dei. Since 2005, Sr. Julia has taught Spirituality at the Graduate Theological Union/Jesuit School of Theology of SCU, Berkeley campus in California and serves on the faculty at the Instituto Teologico Verbum Dei, Loeches/Madrid in Spain.

Linda is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has been in increasing responsible roles in academic administration at Regis University. She is passionate about the integration of Regis University’s Jesuit, Catholic mission into the education experience for the transformation of future health professionals.

Vice President, Mission
Father Burke is a Jesuit priest and theologian who served as the Dean of the Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley, California. Since 2017, Father Burke has served as the Vice President of Mission at Regis University.

Lisa Zenoni, Ph.D., MS, RN, CRRN

Assistant Dean of Undergraduate Programs, Loretto Heights School of Nursing
Lisa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from the University of New Mexico, Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Health Care Systems from Regis University and PhD in Nursing Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Lisa enjoys integrating Jesuit values into her teaching as she guides students in their nursing journeys.

Bianca Calderon, Pharm.D., BCPS

Associate Dean, Interprofessional Education
Bianca is enthusiastic about interprofessional education in preparing healthcare professionals for interprofessional collaboration and teamwork in their future practice. As a clinical pharmacist, Dr. Calderon works to improve the health of individuals and their communities through whole person health, education, and service as a part of interprofessional teams in primary care, geriatrics, and palliative care.

Courtney Duggan, DNP, RN, FNP-C

Assistant Professor, Family Nurse Practitioner; Program Coordinator, Loretto Heights School of Nursing
Courtney is a Regis graduate and has been a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for 14 ½ years. Serving as the Regis FNP program coordinator, Courtney also works in the clinical setting in an underserved primary care clinic and is passionate about holistic care of all patients and their families.

Shawn Anderson, DNP, RN

Assistant Professor, Director of Experiential Learning, Loretto Heights School of Nursing
Shawn is an assistant professor in the Loretto Heights School of Nursing, where she serves as the Director of Experiential Learning. Shawn completed her master’s in nursing at Regis and a Doctoral in education from Colorado Christian University. She holds Jesuit values close to her heart.

Associate Professor of Health Care Ethics
Amanda has extensive expertise in clinical and applied ethics. In addition to her academic role, Amanda serves as a clinical ethics consultant and participates in numerous ethics committees in the Denver Metro area.

Rebecca Downey, PT, DPT, CCS

Assistant Professor, Division of Physical Therapy
Rebecca is grateful to support the mission as a faculty member in the Division of Physical Therapy in the School of Rehabilitative and Health Sciences. Rebecca also serves as an acute care physical therapist and values the treatment of the whole person in education and in clinical practice.
