Let's Get Connected
Connecting to a therapist through the Tech Assistance Program is simple. Just fill out the form below and we'll get you the devices you need to attend your appointments virtually.
As the world continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognize that this is a particularly hard time for many. In addition many counseling service providers, including Regis, are only able to provide teletherapy or virtual therapy appointments. If you are a resident of Thornton seeking mental health counseling or therapy, Regis may be able to loan you an iPad and/or mobile WiFi hotspot free of charge in order to connect with our therapists and supervisors for virtual appointments.
Connecting to a therapist through the Tech Assistance Program is simple. Just fill out the form below and we'll get you the devices you need to attend your appointments virtually.
The Regis Center for Counseling, Family and Play Therapy offers individual therapy, couples counseling, family counseling and play therapy, and all of these are available via the teletherapy format. All it takes is the click of a button to connect virtually with our master's-level clinicians and experienced supervisors.
We're proud to be able to offer low to no-cost counseling services to our community, with appointment fees no higher than $30. No one is turned away for inability to pay, and devices provided through the Technology Assistance Program are offered at no additional charge.
At this time, Regis is only able to offer the Technology Assistance Program to Thornton residents. As a member of the Thornton community, the Regis Center for Counseling and Family Therapy is proud to assist our neighbors and family members as we all work through this difficult time together.
Once we receive your Tech Assistance request, a member of our staff will reach out to you to discuss your specific technology and counseling needs. From there you will be assigned a therapist, and you may either pick up your device(s) from our Thornton office or have them mailed directly to your address. iPads come pre-configured with the software you need to connect to your appointment. Sessions last approximately 45 minutes and occur at the same time each week. All we ask is that you return your equipment when you are no longer working with us – it's as simple as that.
Confidential sessions are facilitated by master's-level graduate students in the final clinical phase of their counseling and family therapy education, and are directly supervised by highly qualified, licensed clinical supervisors. You will have a consistent counselor over the course of a 14-week semester, and your appointment will be at the same time each week. Your mental health team is prepared to work with you on a range of topics, from stress and anxiety to depression, relationship and marital issues, addiction, isolation and more, regardless of whether or not your concerns are related to the pandemic.
At this time, our Technology Assistance Program is limited to residents of Thornton, however we hope to be able to expand the program to the larger Denver Metro Area in the future.
No: We welcome and encourage community members who haven't previously worked with us to utilize the Technology Assistance Program.
You may receive your device in one of two ways:
Your device(s) will come with step-by-step setup instructions and a prepaid return envelope. Please keep this envelope so that you may return your equipment at the end of your work with us.
No: Any technology provided through the Tech Assistance Program is provided at no additional cost, we simply ask that you return your device(s) when you are no longer working with our providers. Doing so allows us to continue to offer remote and teletherapy services to others in need of technological support.
These devices were purchased with grant funds meant to assist those unable to attend therapy in person, and are needed for future clients. We ask that you return the devices in a prepaid envelope within two weeks of your final session and/or two weeks following the last point of contact with your provider. If you have lost the prepaid envelope, please arrange the return of the device through other means with your provider.
Our goal is to make the teletherapy process as simple as possible. The iPad provided comes loaded with the exact software you will need to attend sessions. If you're having trouble, your therapist will be able to assist you over the phone.
Please let us know if your device(s) are lost or stolen as soon as possible so that we can make arrangements to replace it.
