Regis University, in our 146th year, will be inaugurating in its 27th president, Salvador D. Aceves, Ed.D., as our first lay and first Latino president on September 22, 2023.
The ceremony will be followed by a community-wide picnic celebration on Boettcher Commons to include all of Regis University’s students, faculty and staff, as well as invited guests and community members.
Regis University’s future under President Aceves is taking shape and his vision for a 21st Century Jesuit Catholic education rooted in community and mission can already be felt. We are leaning into our values and mission to provide a transformative and inclusive education for students of all backgrounds. Our recent designation as an official Hispanic Serving Institution speaks to our good work here.
We are looking forward to welcoming the largest freshmen class in years and experiencing an upswing in enrollment across our campuses and programs, thanks to the extraordinary efforts of our Admissions team. In July we welcomed Jake Bucher, Ph.D., as our new provost. And this fall, we will move forward with plans to reimagine the southeast corner of campus as Regis Village, an innovative, future-forward community resource.

Supporters at the $10,000 level and higher will be recognized as President’s Circle members, receiving a welcome gift, special recognition in Regis publications and on our website, access to specials events, and invitations to the annual President’s Breakfast.

Tasting Options
We are looking for sponsors to help celebrate this festive occasion by providing tasting options (for approximately 200 people) across the Commons for our student body, faculty and staff, and invited guest. Please feel free to contact the University Advancement team at uadvancement@regis.edu if you have any questions or if you wish to be added to our sponsors list. Participating vendors will receive:
- A designated tent space with space for signage
- Logo and name on placards throughout the event space
- Listing in the inauguration program (anticipated guest count is approximately 1,000)
- Listing on the inauguration website
- Mention in the university newsletter (circulation to faculty and staff, approximately 2,400)
- Mention in the student campus events newsletter (impressions over 1,000)
