How it Works
- New graduate students at Regis University are evaluated for the Dean's Scholarship at the time of admission.
- The Office of Financial Aid reviews your upcoming semester enrollment 1-2 weeks before classes start and awards the scholarship based on your current semester-long or 8-week term enrollment.
- The scholarship will be adjusted as quickly as possible based on adding or dropping courses.
- The scholarship will be disbursed to your student account after the add/drop period has ended for your term of enrollment. You are responsible for your remaining balance based on Student Accounts tuition deadlines.
- Dean's Scholarships are awarded for the posted length of your graduate program, provided you meet renewal requirements.
Eligibility and Renewal Criteria
- Must be newly admitted to an eligible program. Your eligibility and amount of scholarship is based on your incoming GPA.
- Must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA in your eligible graduate program and meet Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements.
- Must maintain at least half-time enrollment (3 graduate-level credit hours) in your degree program each semester.
- All courses must apply to the eligible degree program.
- The total scholarship is split and awarded per class as you register.
- Eligibility for the scholarship will be permanently lost if you stop out* and are required to reapply for admission through the re-entry process. At the time of re-entry, you will be evaluated for current scholarship opportunities.
- Students who are part of our partnership with Guild do not qualify for the Dean's Scholarship.
- Dean's Scholarship and other institutional aid cannot exceed tuition.
- The Dean’s Scholarship is available for the total number of credit hours required to graduate in your eligible degree. If you withdraw or do not successfully complete a course and need additional time to complete your degree, you will be responsible for the remaining costs out of pocket, or you can apply for other forms of financial aid by completing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
*Stop out is defined as not enrolling in any courses for a period of 12 or more months.
