Counseling Services include individual and group therapy, as well as walk-in hours, crisis intervention, Outreach and programming, and referrals for additional resources. The services at the Counseling Center are free of charge and sessions don’t have a limit. The Counseling Center is open and available and working to get students in quickly, usually within 24-48 hours, for an urgent/crisis appointment and within a week for standard appointments.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy sessions are one-on-one, confidential sessions with a member of our counseling staff to work through any issues a student may be experiencing. Individual sessions may be one-time or recurring.
Couples Therapy
Students are eligible for couples counseling sessions at the Regis Counseling Center. If you are interested in learning more about couples therapy, please call us at 303-458-3558 or email us at hcc@regis.edu.
Group Therapy
Students often find groups to be places of extraordinary support and healing. Groups offer a safe environment to get support from others and experience a level of connection that is often missing in our everyday lives. Therapy groups give students a chance to learn from others’ experiences, try out new ways of relating and better understand themselves and their relationships. Group offerings differ every semester.
Mental Health Outreach and Programming
We strongly value contributing to building a healthy and safe Regis community. We are happy to provide mental health educational programming at the request of Regis faculty, staff, and student groups across campus.
Our outreach services can be requested by sending an email to hcc@regis.edu with your name, contact information, type of presentation or mental health concern you would like us to address, and dates and timelines. We ask that requests be made for groups of 10 or more and that they be placed at least two weeks in advance for consideration. We do our best to honor requests as often as time and resources allow.
