Kimberly Kemp

Kimberly joined the Dayton Memorial Library in 2008 as a part-time/on-call Librarian. She became a member of the library faculty in 2013 as a Research and Instruction Librarian serving health science programs. Kimberly attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan where she completed her undergraduate and graduate studies in biology, nutrition & food science and library science. Her 30 years of library experience includes government, environmental, corporate, public and academic libraries. Prior to becoming a librarian, Kimberly worked in the food industry in quality control and research & development. She has served on committees and boards of various library associations including the Colorado Council of Medical Librarians. She has managed the copyediting for Jesuit Higher Education: A Journal and has taught NR 350, Normal and Therapeutic Nutrition for the Loretto Heights School of Nursing (LHSON). In 2021, Kimberly was honored to receive the LHSON Outstanding Faculty Award. Kimberly has three children, all who have attended or graduated from Regis.
