Dr. Tim Trenary is a professor of Mathematics at Regis University. Originally from Belleville, Illinois, he completed his doctoral work in Functional Analysis and Non-linear Optimization at Colorado State University. After graduation, he spent seven years at IBM Printing Systems in Boulder, Colorado where he worked as a software developer and researcher for a high-speed color printing project. In 2006 he accepted a tenure-track position at Regis University as has never looked back. His research interests include image-processing, machine learning and integrating mindfulness practices into mathematics education. He lives a blessed life in Westminster, Colorado, with his wife and pugs.
