Rebecca (Becky) Freeman is an instructor in the Loretto Heights School of Nursing. She is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and has a Master's degree in Public Health. She has experience in nursing and public health both in the United States and internationally. Her passion is community health and teaching her students to recognize and consider social determinants of health. In addition to teaching at Regis she continues her clinical practice at Denver Health where she has been since 2013. She is a strong proponent of incorporating Jesuit values into learning to send her students into the world ready to care for the whole person.
