Dr. Miranda Kantor joined the Division of Education at Regis University in 2024. She received her Ph.D. in educational and organizational leadership at the University of the Cumberlands. She earned a master’s degree in education at Southern Utah University and a bachelor’s dual degree in special education and elementary education at the University of Wyoming. For over 20 years, she has worked in K-12 education as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, social-emotional learning specialist, gifted and talented teacher, academic interventionist, instructional coach, and professional development leader. She is passionate about supporting and empowering teachers to enhance their skills and effectiveness in the classroom. She believes providing the right resources and guidance can help educators reach their full potential and positively impact their students' learning experiences. She currently serves as a work-based learning specialist for Thompson School District. She engages schools and employers to help students (specifically underserved populations) develop workplace and postsecondary education skills.
