Leah Behrmann

Dr. Behrmann graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.S. in Biology and a Doctor of Pharmacy. She has completed PGY-1 and PGY-2 residencies, the latter of which is in critical care medicine. She is double board certified as a pharmacotherapy specialist and in critical care pharmacy.

Dr. Behrmann’s professional interests include infectious disease, neurocritical care, toxicology and academia. Her most recent position was as an emergency department clinical pharmacy specialist for UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs. Dr. Behrmann also served as an affiliate faculty and preceptor for the School of Pharmacy since 2018 which provided a seamless transition into her role as Assistant Professor in January 2022. She is excited to contribute her knowledge of critical care medicine to the School of Pharmacy and provide additional opportunities for pharmacy students in their experiential rotations.

In her free time, Leah enjoys spending time with her family and daughter, sharing all her passions including traveling, backpacking, mountain biking and snowboarding!
