Dr. Colton Sawyer is an associate professor of Mathematics at Regis University. He grew up in the Regis neighborhood, and after 15 years on the East Coast, is excited to return to the community of his childhood. Dr. Sawyer has research interests in physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling, a subset of compartmental modeling in the intersection of biology and mathematics, as well as scholarship around engaging students in a mathematics classroom. He believes that no person is inherently bad at math, just that they’ve had experiences that haven’t led them to find a niche in a broad field that resonates with their strengths.
