Christopher obtained his undergraduate degree in from California State University Channel Islands in Applied Physics, Mathematics, and a minor in history. He obtained a Masters in Physics from the University of Alaska Fairbanks focusing on nonlinear dynamics of glaciers with the Glaciology department. After teaching nontraditional students in Alaska he decided to further his education for facilitating adult learning through certificates at CSU. In his free time he enjoys taking his chihuahua out on hikes and plein air watercolor painting in the Rocky Mountains.
