Cassandra Hanna

Dr. Hanna began her tenure at Regis University as a recruited soccer player. However, she was deemed medically unable to play after several knee surgeries. Regis University honored her full-ride scholarship (including 2 years of pharmacy school) proving that Regis not only speaks of its values and mission, but also exemplifies these values. As a Regis alumnus, Dr. Hanna continues to promote “Magis” and “Cura Personalis” in her clinical practice and as a faculty member. She believes that we should live the way we can best serve the majority of people. Caring for the whole person is the way Regis pharmacists should practice and care for their patients.

Dr. Hanna believes that there should be a high expectation set for students to be successful; students should become leaders and give back to their community. Her teaching philosophies encourage collaboration and communication amongst peers. Her ideal classroom environment is one that is both stimulating and challenging yet straightforward with known learning objectives. All students and faculty will consistently embody the ideals of professionalism. From her doctoral course experience, each student should learn how to effectively utilize their knowledge and resources to be successful in real-world situations.
