Alexandre Dubois

Alexandre Dubois holds a Ph.D. in French and Francophone Studies from the University of Minnesota. He is currently an Assistant Professor, Director of French, and Director of Global and Migration Studies at Regis University. Specializing in Second Language Acquisition and Transnational French, he has significant experience with recruitment and retention, as well as service-learning initiatives, which provide students with opportunities to apply what they learn in the classroom in a professional setting, working with non-profits while engaging in community service. His researches focuses on the fantasy of global colonialism that characterized French geographical societies from the late nineteenth century to our current time.
