Sheryl Tirol is the Director of Communications for Regis University’s Marketing and Communications Office, bringing over 20 years of expertise in strategic communications across the private and public sectors. Before joining Regis, she managed public relations for a global nonprofit's U.S. market, crafting impactful messaging and outreach campaigns. Sheryl’s career also includes work as an entertainment publicist in Los Angeles, where she promoted television shows and independent films, blending creativity with storytelling to engage diverse audiences.
A Chicago native, Sheryl began her professional career as a broadcast journalist, covering live news for television stations across the Midwest. Transitioning to public relations and communications, she built a dynamic career in major cities like Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, and now Denver. Her passion for storytelling, shaped by her background in journalism, drives her commitment to elevating meaningful narratives. As a devout Catholic, she is especially dedicated to amplifying stories of faith to inspire and connect communities.
When she’s not navigating PR or crisis communications strategies, Sheryl immerses herself in Colorado’s natural beauty and culinary scene. She is also pursuing her M.A. in Creative Writing at Regis University, working toward her goal of writing that inspirational book she’s always dreamed of creating.
