Sara Knuth is the senior editor for Regis University's Marketing and Communications team. Sara started as the news and marketing writer/editor at Regis in 2021 and is proud to play a part in amplifying the compassionate and compelling work of the Regis community through storytelling. Sara completed her M.A. with a creative writing specialization at Regis in 2023, which gave her a chance to experience all that Regis has to offer as a student.
Sara started her career as a newspaper reporter in Cañon City, Colorado, where she covered everything from education to crime and courts. She also worked as the local government reporter for The Greeley Tribune in northern Colorado before transitioning into the world of higher education communications. Before starting at Regis, Sara worked as the writer and content specialist for the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, Sara is a graduate of Colorado State University Pueblo, where she earned a bachelor's degree in mass communications with an emphasis in journalism. Sara loves learning and writing about Colorado history, a passion that is evident in her growing collection of vintage postcards. In her spare time, Sara likes to pursue all things cozy, including reading, writing short stories, visiting local tea houses and checking out new movies.
