Richie received a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University in 2010, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver in 2017, and a Doctor of Psychology from the University of Denver in 2020. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at Regis University during the 2019-2020 school year, and he is excited to join the counseling center as a staff member!
Richie utilizes an integrative approach to psychotherapy, drawing from humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and behavioral principles. He is a big believer in the idea that the most meaningful therapeutic changes are driven by self-acceptance. Richie's professional interests include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, identity development, neurodiversity, and group psychotherapy. He's also a pretty big nerd.
