The Theory of Caring Science by Dr. Jean Watson guides my teaching philosophy. For me, this means teaching is about creating a respectful and reflective environment for learning through co-creation between students and me. Authentic presence and listening is important to me as together we learn while in a classroom setting, a combination of classroom and online, or a total online learning environment.
