Emily Englund was born and raised in Kearney, Nebraska. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art/Graphic Design from the University of Sioux Falls in 2016. She has nearly a decade of combined experience in higher education, nonprofits and volunteer work. Building upon her experience living in marginalized communities, she seeks to cultivate a community in her area grounded in trust, justice, and holistic care.
Outside of work, she continues to freelance in graphic design and copywriting for local nonprofits and small business owners. She enjoys getting into the beautiful Rocky Mountains on the weekends and spending time with friends and family.
