JoLynne Reynolds had the pleasure of being a counselor educator and supervisor from 1988-2024. In addition to her former position at Regis University, she has worked as a counselor educator at Texas State University, Texas Woman’s University, and Eastern Kentucky University.
Reynolds' approach to counselor education and supervision was from a developmental model, where feedback and support was provided to supervisee’s stage of professional development and facilitate progression to higher levels of development (Loganbill, et.al. 1982) As a facilitator of her students’ growth, she strove to create supportive learning opportunities that challenge them to think empathically, analytically, and creatively, in order to develop inclusive ways of understanding and counseling diverse people.

As a specialist in working with children and parents she holds certification as a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S). She has held LPC licensure in Texas and licensure in Florida as a Mental Health Counselor. Her 35+ years of experience in counseling have included positions in non-profit mental health, schools, and in private practice.
