Paul Naslund is the Applied Trombone instructor for Regis University.
Paul is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.M. ’86, M.M. ’88). He has is a member of the Colorado Symphony since 1990. He has performed at several Colorado festivals including The Colorado Music Festival, Strings in the Mountains, The Telluride Jazz Festival, and The National Repertory Orchestra. Paul is still very active performing brass chamber music and has recorded with The Bartels Brass, The Boulder Brass and The Denver Brass. Among his favorite memories are performances with Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, James Garner, and John Denver. His university faculty experience includes the The University of Denver, University of Wyoming, Metropolitan State University, Colorado Christian University, and guest lecturer at the University of Colorado and University of Michigan. Paul is a consummate DIYer and never lacks projects at his 1940’s era home where he lives with his wife and three sons. He enjoys family road trips, reading, video games, and volunteering with a creative problem- solving organization called Destination Imagination.
