Dr. Wilson has been an affiliate faculty member in the Master of Development Practice program since 2018. Kurt has a broad scope of non-profit evaluation and consulting experience and is the President of Effect X, LLC. His evaluation consulting experience includes organizations ranging from small local community initiatives to UNICEF and the World Food Program and projects in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Uganda, El Salvador, Kenya and Jordan as well as site visits in thirteen countries. He brings an insider knowledge of non-profit organizational needs to his consulting work through previous positions within professional philanthropy and leading a non-profit advertising and fundraising firm. Kurt’s education includes a BS in Economics from The Colorado College, a Diploma in International Development from the University of London, and a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Evaluation from Western Michigan University.
