Kathy Osborn

Kathy is a health care leader in Colorado who brings system operational innovation, sound strategies, and processes to drive health care forward. She has served as a transformative leader in health care for over 15 years. Her expertise is in identifying innovative operational strategies designed to maximize processes while focusing on long-term sustainability.

As the Division Administrator at the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, she is focused on providing optimal care and access to patients with type 1 diabetes. The clinic serves over 4,600 children with type 1 diabetes and provides patient care to patients seen at Children’s Hospital Colorado.

In addition to providing leadership to the Barbara Davis Center, she has also served in leadership positions at Mayo Clinic Laboratories, where she was accountable for fostering new growth for over 2500 community hospital clients; Denver Health, where she served as a financial, operations, and strategic senior manager overseeing a clinical call center operation focused on integrated care; and Colorado Hospital Association, where she concentrated on expanding access to care by involvement at the federal level to advance policies related to broadband technology and telehealth using federal funds.

She is passionate about education and considers herself a lifelong learner. She serves on the Regis University Health Services Education team and teaches applied capstone, health of politics, human resource management, leading organizations, leadership organizational development, project management, and quality and patient safety. In her free time, she enjoys spending it at the family cabin in the mountains admiring the wildlife in Colorado.
