New Partnership Creates Streamlined Opportunities for Front Range Community College Students to Pursue Pharmacy Degrees at Regis University
New partnership provides Front Range Community College students with a seamless pathway to earn advanced pharmacy degrees at Regis University, fostering future health care leaders
Regis University has partnered with Front Range Community College (FRCC) to open pathways for FRCC students to pursue pharmacy careers through Regis University’s Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program.
This collaboration creates a direct pathway for FRCC students in health sciences and biology programs to apply to the PharmD program at Regis University, supporting their advancement in education and entrance into the pharmacy profession. As part of the agreement, FRCC will promote Regis University’s PharmD program to its students, while representatives from Regis University’s School of Pharmacy will visit FRCC’s campuses annually, either in person or virtually, to provide program information and answer questions from students and faculty. These visits will be coordinated to ensure maximum engagement and accessibility for students interested in pharmacy.
“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Front Range Community College to broaden pharmacy career pathways for their students,” said Dr. Samit Shah, Dean of Regis University’s School of Pharmacy. “This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting students in achieving their academic and professional ambitions, equipping them to make a lasting impact in healthcare and their communities.”
Regis University’s School of Pharmacy utilizes Team-Based Learning to develop pharmacists equipped with comprehensive knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills. Regis is one of the few universities offering both three- and four-year PharmD pathways, ensuring flexible options to meet diverse student needs.
“This partnership opens exciting new doors for our health sciences students who are eager to pursue careers in pharmacy,” said Angie Peach, Dean of the School of Health Sciences and Wellness at Front Range Community College. “We look forward to collaborating with Regis University to support our students as they advance in their healthcare education and professional journeys.”
