Regis University and CSU Pueblo Forge Partnership to Expand Pharmacy Career Pathways

New partnership creates streamlined opportunities for CSU Pueblo students to pursue advanced pharmacy degrees at Regis University's nationally recognized School of Pharmacy

Regis University and Colorado State University Pueblo have entered into a partnership to encourage CSU Pueblo students to pursue careers in pharmacy through Regis University’s Doctor of Pharmacy program.

This collaboration aims to create a clear pathway for CSU Pueblo students in health sciences and biology programs to apply to the PharmD program at Regis University, helping students advance their education and enter the pharmacy profession. As part of the agreement, CSU Pueblo will promote Regis University’s PharmD program to its students. Representatives from Regis University’s School of Pharmacy will visit CSU Pueblo’s campus annually, either in person or virtually, to share information about the program and answer questions from students and faculty. The visits will be organized in collaboration between both institutions to ensure effective outreach and engagement.

“We are thrilled to partner with CSU Pueblo to provide their students with opportunities to pursue advanced degrees in pharmacy,” said Samit Shah, dean of Regis University’s School of Pharmacy. “This partnership aligns with our shared mission of helping students achieve their academic and professional goals in the healthcare field.”

Regis University School of Pharmacy uses proven Team-Based Learning to develop pharmacists with exceptional knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills. Our approach educates diverse students holistically for lives of service and purpose. Regis is also among the few schools offering both 3- and 4-year Doctor of Pharmacy pathways.

“This partnership creates new possibilities for our students in health sciences who are interested in pharmacy careers,” said Carol Foust, Dean of the College of Health and Education at CSU Pueblo. “We are excited to collaborate with Regis University to help our students take the next step in their healthcare education.”
