Regis University Extends Enrollment Deposit Deadline For An Additional Two Weeks Amid FAFSA Changes

In response to the challenges posed by changes to the FAFSA for this year, Regis University has extended the enrollment deposit deadline for traditional undergraduate programs to June 15. This extension provides prospective students with additional time to navigate the updated financial aid process and secure their admission.

Importance of Submitting the FAFSA

Submitting the FAFSA is crucial for students seeking need-based financial aid. By completing the FAFSA, students become eligible for various financial aid options, including grants, work-study programs, and federal loans. Students with an SAI of –1,500 to 0 have the potential to be fully covered. These resources are vital in making higher education accessible and affordable.

Scholarships

In addition to need-based aid, Regis University offers up to $36,000 in scholarships to students in our traditional undergraduate programs. Eligibility for these scholarships is determined by our Office of Admissions based on factors such as high school GPA, the high school attended, and other criteria. These scholarships are designed to reward academic excellence and provide additional financial support to our students.

"We understand the difficulties students and families are facing with the recent changes to the FAFSA form," said J.T. Smith, Dean of Admissions at Regis University. "By extending our enrollment deposit deadline, we aim to alleviate some of the stress and ensure that all prospective students have ample time to complete their financial aid applications and secure their place at Regis."
