Regis University hosted the 14th consecutive qualifying round for the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (RMCCDC) on Saturday, Feb. 3. Fifteen university and college teams from four states converged at Regis University to demonstrate their skills in cybersecurity. The top eight teams emerging from this round will advance to the RMCCDC, scheduled for March 8-9, 2024.

This competition emphasizes the operational aspect of managing and safeguarding a "commercial" network infrastructure while preserving core business competencies.
The top eight teams advancing to the RMCCDC are:
- BYU
- Southern Utah University
- Colorado School of Mines
- University of Colorado Boulder
- United States Air Force Academy
- BYU Idaho
- Utah Valley University
- University of Colorado Colorado Springs
The winner of the RMCCDC will advance and represent the Rocky Mountain Region at the National Championship, to be held on April 25 -27, 2024.
Regis congratulates the top finalists as well as all the competing universities and colleges on a job well done.
