In Memory of our Beloved Christmas Tree

On Thursday, Oct. 27, our grand old Christmas tree was removed from Boettcher Commons. Every effort was made to save the tree, but despite special treatment over the past few years, the tree was coming to the end of its life.

The tree stood proudly in the Boettcher Commons for decades and had been decorated as the official Regis University Christmas tree for over thirty years. 

We understand the power and importance of tradition and have selected a healthy evergreen on the Quad to decorate this Christmas. Our Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Nov. 16; additional details are forthcoming. 

Physical Plant is planning to replace the tree next Spring.
