Fueled by copious amounts of caffeine and a desire to protect our shared digital existence, cybersecurity professionals are the tip of the spear when it comes to safeguarding the public from black hat hackers and other online scoundrels. 

Regis University is proud to be part of the good fight with our B.S. in Cybersecurity and M.S. in Information and Cyber Security. We look forward to training the next generation of digital protectors, who will be tasked with keeping our personal data and online footprint hidden from those who wish to do harm. 

In 2018, Regis received a U.S. government grant of nearly $1 million to focus on cybersecurity and develop a curriculum that can be adopted across the country. Thanks to this partnership with federal agencies, we’ve developed a multidisciplinary approach that will give graduates the skills they need to thrive in this growing profession.

Regis is also the long-time host institution for the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (RMCCDC), a well-established competition that provides collegiate teams an opportunity to test their cybersecurity knowledge and abilities. The 2022 competition represents Regis University’s twelfth year as Rocky Mountain regional host for competitors from Colorado and neighboring Utah, Nebraska and Kansas.  

There’s never been a better time to get involved in the field of cybersecurity. With businesses investing billions of dollars in network technology, cybersecurity experts are more employable and in-demand than ever before. In fact, skilled information security analysts make an average of $103,590 per year, with the number of jobs expected to grow by 33% through 2030.

The B.S. in Cybersecurity and M.S. in Information and Cyber Security programs are now accepting students. We also offer a graduate level certificate in cybersecurity.
