Regis earns ‘Military Friendly’ designation
Regis University ranked 4th among private institutions offering doctorate degrees in the 2021-2022 MilitaryFriendly® School designation.
Among the 1,200 institutions that participated in the survey, 746 schools received the designation.
Institutions that earned the Military Friendly®School designation were evaluated using both public data and responses from a proprietary survey. The list will be published in the May issue of G.I. Jobs magazine and can be found online at www.militaryfriendly.com.
Methodology, criteria and weightings were determined with input from representatives of higher education and the military recruitment community, according to Military Friendly®.
“We are very excited and proud to receive this designation that recognizes Regis University’s commitment to support our military service members, veterans, and their families,” Fletcher Brown, director of Military and Veteran Services, said. “Our military-affiliated students are an important part of the Regis family and our support team across the campus is truly committed to helping them reach their educational and career goals.”
Final ratings were determined by combining an institution’s survey responses with governmental data. Areas such as student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence (degree advancement or transfer) and loan default rates for all students, and specifically, for student veterans, were considered.
