In the first semester of every year, University Ministry holds a retreat specifically for freshmen. This weekend retreat aims to tackle the obstacles which come with the freshman college experience. A team of sophomores, juniors, and seniors lead small group discussions, hiking, trust games, prayer, and various additional recreational activities. Connections is a great chance to meet lifelong friends and commit to spiritual living throughout the college journey. Held at YMCA Camp Santa Maria in Grant, CO.

It was dubbed 'Super Thursday;' a mid-semester day of fun activities for students. A skydiving simulator was running all day in Lot 6, free for students to experience the thrill of flight.
