Join us today as we bid farewell to coaches Raunig and Bain. You’re invited to a retirement celebration as Regis says goodbye and thank you to women’s basketball coaches Raunig and Bain. Raunig has the most wins of any women’s basketball coach in Regis’ history. She also directed the Rangers program to postseason play 18 of her 25 seasons including four Colorado Athletic Conference semifinals and 15 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Shootout appearances. Raunig and Bain have coached together for 13 seasons. The Regis University Athletics Department will host a retirement party today at 4 p.m. for the two coaches on the north side patio of Main Hall. All are welcome.

Catholicism in the Modern World- Lecture Series at Regis University Thursday, April 23, 2015 7:00 p.m. "St. George / al-Khidr: A Common Saint for Christians and Muslims in the Eastern Mediterranean" Erica Ferg is a Ph.D. candidate in the Study of Religion at the University of Denver – Iliff School of Theology Joint Doctoral Program, where her area of specialization is Islamic studies in the Eastern Mediterranean. Her research interests include Muslim and Christian saints and awliya’ in the Islamic world, Late-Antique Qur’anic social and philological studies, comparative linguistics, and modern Middle Eastern and Islamic politics. Erica has been an affiliate faculty member at Regis University in Denver since 2008, where she teaches classroom and online courses in Islam, the Abrahamic religious traditions, and religious studies theories and methods.
