Leadership in Health Care Systems

If you're already an RN with a bachelor's degree, Regis University offers an innovative program designed specifically for working professionals looking to enrich their experience and education with a focus in either education or management.

Classes for the Leadership in Health Care Systems program can be taken either on our main campus or online. The campus program meets one evening per week from 5:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. And while the online courses require weekly participation, there are no set login times or classroom work. Flexibility is a key component of the online option. Thirteen total courses are required for completion and are offered in an accelerated eight-week format. Most students complete the program in approximately 24 months.

Within the program curriculum, students complete four courses in focus content areas. The Management focus entails course work in human resource development, economics and budgeting. The Education focus includes teaching and learning theory, curriculum development and evaluation. Both focus options complete a practicum in their area, which consists of 105 hours of field work designed to consolidate skills and apply principles in an authentic health care management or education environment and is completed outside of your current place of employment.
