Bachelor of Science
Health Care Administration (HCA)

At Regis University, we understand that there are countless facets of health care to be explored. A Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration is one encompassing way to make a difference, by equipping yourself with the tools necessary to keep your hospital, managed care facility, consulting firm or any other health care facility humming. There are literally no limits to your future, once you have the skills to administer proper care to your patients and staff.

According to the 2004-2005 edition of the Occupational Outlook Handbook of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment of health service managers and administrators is expected to keep growing faster than the average of all occupations through 2012.

The HCA program is offered on the campus or online!

The campus option offers courses on Saturdays and Sundays every other weekend in eight-week terms, with an online component. The online option offers courses in a flexible format so that you may attend class from anywhere online! Online classes are in eight-week terms and do not require specific log in times, but do include weekly deadlines and assignments. Both options allow you to plan your career in leadership, while maintaining full-time employment.

The HCA curriculum requires a minimum of 128 semester hours and can be completed in just 24-30 months. Additional core requirements can be taken concurrently with the professional courses and in some cases, prior technical education in disciplines such as respiratory therapy may be accepted in transfer to meet general elective requirements. Admission is on a rolling basis.

You don't have to choose between a desire to heal and a drive to lead. The HCA program can help you achieve both, in a minimal amount of time. Your patients and staff will thank you.
