Fitness Center

The Fitness Program is designed to assist students, faculty, and staff of Regis University increase or maintain their physical health. Specifically, the Program focuses on exercise and nutrition while recognizing that physical health is but one facet of total wellness. Use of the Fitness Center is free to traditional undergraduates, faculty and staff. Memberships are available for a monthly fee to family members of Regis faculty and staff as well as traditional students, alumni, and adjunct faculty.

In order to use the facility, the Fitness Center do ask that you print and fill out the following forms and bring them into the center on your first visit: 1) Acknowledgment of Responsibilities, 2) Health History, and 3) Notification of Risk

The Fitness Center offers a unique opportunity for students to become directly involved in the daily operation of a major campus facility. The Center is supervised by a full time director and managed by two student managers who oversee daily operations. There are several assistant managers who are responsible for equipment maintenance and repair, advertising & promotions, personal training, and various administrative duties. There is also a staff of 18 student Fitness Assistants who orient people to equipment use, advise on proper workout techniques, and monitor the facility. The staff includes qualified student aerobic instructors. The entire Fitness Center staff is trained in the principles of cardiovascular and strength training and certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

The friendly and informal setting of the Fitness Center is equipped for cardiovascular and weight training enthusiasts. The equipment includes:
