Dining at Regis University

Student at Ranger Grille

Welcome! Regis University and our partners at Sodexo are pleased to introduce you to our on-campus dining program. Basic information follows to help you select the meal plan that suits you best.

Meal Plan Basics

Meal plans include multiple dining options:

  • Meal swipes may be used in the all-you-can-eat Dining Hall in the Student Center. There are 18 possible meal swipes on the meal plan each week.
  • Declining Balance (Flex) dollars, for use on campus, are flexible dollars for à la carte items in the Student Center’s Ranger Grille, featuring Einstein’s Bagels. You may also use declining ballance dollars to order from Domino’s Pizza to your on-campus room.
  • Regis Ranger Bucks may be used at selected off-campus restaurants or in the Ranger Grille.

First-Year Meal Plan Options

If you are a first-year, residential student under the age of 21, you must choose between the following two meal plans. Rates apply to the 2009/2010 academic year only:

FAQs

Please see the Student Handbook for more information.

If I don’t use up my entire meal plan, what happens?
If you have the Gold or Ranger Plan, your swipes and declining balance dollars expire at the end of each semester and any balance is forfeited. The Regis Ranger Bucks on your plan will roll over semester-to-semester. For the spring term, you will be re-enrolled in the same meal plan you had in the fall unless you notify the Office of Student Life.

If you have the À la Carte Plan, any remaining balance will roll over from the fall to the spring semester, but will expire at the end of the spring. Any balance will be forfeited. Note: If you have an À la Carte plan for the fall, you will not be automatically re-enrolled for spring semester. Please contact the Office of Student Life to add the À la Carte plan.

What if I run out of money on my plan?
You can always choose to add Regis Ranger Bucks to your plan. Regis Ranger Bucks can be used on or off-campus at selectlocations. To add Regis Ranger Bucks, visit the Regis Ranger Bucks website.

Can I change or cancel my meal plan?
Yes. All meal plan changes must take place within the first two weeks of the term. Fall meal plans can be changed through Friday, September 4, 2009, and spring plans can be changed through January 29, 2010. After this time, no changes are permitted. However, À la Carte plans may be added at any time.

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?
Simply contact the Sodexo office in the Dining Hall to schedule an appointment. They will meet with you to develop a custom dining plan. On rare occasion, when Sodexo Food Services is unable to accommodate a medically documented dietary restriction, a student may be released from their meal plan obligation. Please contact the Office of Student Life during the first two weeks of the semester at 303-458-4086 for more information.
