Remember to attend our next Teacher Ed Student Seminar on Saturday, November 14. Registration for this seminar will start Thursday, October 1st and end on Thursday, November 12. We are also inaugurating pre-registration (first come, first served) for the most popular sessions which are being offered twice. There is limited seating for these sessions.
Education Highlights
- The Education Program department provides undergraduate, graduate, licensure, and certification programs with a focus on preparing students to meet changing demands in education.
- Programs in Education are accredited and state-approved in Colorado, Wyoming and Nevada , and nationally-approved through the Teacher Education Accreditation Council.
- Programs are taught through a combination of flexible formats--classroom, online, and directed study—by a supportive and responsive staff.
- All Education faculty current or former practitioners in their chosen fields and have corresponding advanced degrees.
- All students are assigned a single advisor with whom to work closely throughout their program.
- To acknowledge the value of teachers and paraprofessionals in our communities, Regis extends a 10% tuition scholarship to licensed teachers seeking a Master of Education and paraprofessionals seeking a Bachelor’s degree or Licensure.

Counseling Highlights
- The mission of the Graduate Counseling Department is to involve students in a search for truth, values and a just existence within the framework of the traditions of humanistic, depth and cultural psychology.
- The Counseling Department offers two master's degrees: A Master of Arts in Counseling and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Courses are taught to meet the needs of non-traditional students including evening, weekend, and intensive classroom formats.
- All Counseling faculty are current or former practitioners in their chosen fields and have corresponding advanced degrees.
- Counseling practicum and internship clinical field experiences are based in non-profit community agencies/clinical sites that meet the counseling needs of underserved populations.
- A state-of-the-art counseling laboratory provides hands-on training in a simulated professional counseling environment.
- Counseling programs are approved for licensure through the states of Colorado.
- The Masters of Arts in Counseling Program is nationally accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Educationally Related Programs (CACREP).
