Pharmacy gave me the perfect balance of not being a frontline health professional, but rather a little more in the background and still involved in patient care.

The School of Pharmacy does offer an early assurance program for entrance into the Pharm.D. program for Regis University students. No. Regis University is a pluralistic institution. People from all faith traditions are welcome and treated with respect and dignity. Religious preference is not a screening criterion.
Graduates must successfully pass two examinations prior to entering pharmacy practice.
The NAPLEX®, or North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination®, measures a candidate’s knowledge of the practice of pharmacy. It is just one component of the licensure process and is used by the boards of pharmacy as part of their assessment of a candidate’s competence to practice as a pharmacist.
The MPJE®, or Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination®, combines federal- and state-specific questions to test the pharmacy jurisprudence knowledge of prospective pharmacists. It serves as the pharmacy law examination in participating jurisdictions and tests a candidate’s mastery of pharmacy law.
The interview day will consist of several activities. Each candidate will participate in multiple mini interviews. This approach allows you to speak with several different faculty members, current pharmacy students and/or practicing pharmacists. Along with the interview, you will be given a guided tour of campus and our pharmacy lab facilities, take the Health Science Reason Test (HSRT) and participate in a Team-Based Learning demonstration. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to chat with both faculty and staff to learn more about our Team-based Learning approach, pedagogy, and Jesuit mission, as well as life as a Regis Student Pharmacist.
