Description of the organization: We provide networking opportunities and chances to learn more about clinical pharmacy in any setting, whether it be hospitals and their affiliated outpatient clinics, emergency departments, community pharmacies, doctors’ offices, community-based clinics, nursing homes, or managed care organizations. We are also currently working on the legislative side of pharmacy and trying to get pharmacists "provider status."

Description of the organization: AMCP is an organization that looks to empower its members to serve society by using sound medication management principles and strategies to improve health care for all.  Here at our student chapter, we look to accomplish this while also educating our members and fellow peers about the many opportunities manage care can provide.  With our annual P&T Competition with the Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy, our various guest speakers, community service events, and round table discussions, there is always something to new to participate in.
