Experience a more meaningful career in counseling

The vision of the Division of Counseling and Family Therapy involves a commitment to the two deepest roots of the Regis Mission, to educate counselors and family therapists who are grounded in the awareness and cultivation of their intrinsic values and the understanding of how to mobilize those values in the service of community.  The diverse theoretical orientations taught in the classroom are comfortably woven into the fabric of the university wide mission statement of ‘how ought we to live.”  Our uniqueness is clearly evident in how easily our learners and graduates are able to enter their communities in the field of counseling and family therapy with a commitment to the greater good.

Our two accredited master degrees and 4 post graduate certificates are coupled with a comprehensive practicum/internship experience at one of over 100 approved clinical sites.  Our aim is to educate competent counselors who advocate for individuals, embody integrity and facilitate positive change.
