Embracing the Challenge to Make a Positive Difference
Answering the Question "How Ought We to Live?"
Regis University's Jesuit education provides an opportunity to explore the question "How ought we to live?" through service learning, academic excellence and spiritual development. Your college experience will challenge you to be more, do more and learn more. Through the cultivation of leadership in service to others, you will be engaged in an academic environment that calls you to strive for excellence and seek God in all things.
Tradition and Vision
Regis was founded by Jesuit priests who were mavericks in their time. Inspired by the particular Jesuit vision of St. Ignatius Loyola, they challenged the status quo and asked hard questions. It is their tradition of constantly developing the whole person, cura personalis, along with their spirituality, global awareness and concern for justice, that provide you with a unique and life-changing college experience.
Regis University stands proud alongside 28 universities and colleges nationwide, which exemplify the 500-year-old Jesuit tradition of academic rigor, intellectual exchange and faculty commitment to each student’s personal development. Some of our fellow Jesuit schools include Georgetown University, Boston College, Fordham University, Marquette University, Loyola Marymount University and the University of San Francisco.
