Basic Meal Plan Information

Meal plans include multiple dining options:

  • Meal swipes may be used in the all-you-can-eat Main Café in the Student Center. There are 19 possible meal swipes on the meal plan each week.
  • Declining balance dollars, for use on campus, are dollars for à la carte items in the Main Café, Claver Café, Clarke Café and Book & Bean.

First-Year Meal Plan Options

If you are a first-year, residential student under the age of 21, you must choose between the following two meal plans. Rates apply to the 2012/2013 academic year only:
  • Plan A - $2,165/ semester 19 meal swipes and $400 flexible spending dollars. *Offers complete flexibility for multiple trips to the Main Café per day and declining balance dollars.
  • Plan B- $2,010/ semester 12 meal swipes per week, $500 flexible spending dollars. *Plan B is a slightly smaller meal plan for students preferring a smaller dining plan option and more declining balance dollars.

Students living in the residence halls will select a meal plan as part of their housing sign-up process.

Upperclassman Meal Plan Options

  • Plan A - $2,165/ semester 19 meal swipes and $400 flexible spending dollars. * Offers complete flexibility for multiple trips to the Main Café per day and declining balance dollars.
  • Plan B - $2,010/ semester 12 meal swipes per week and $500 flexible spending dollars. * Plan B is a slightly smaller meal plan for students preferring a smaller dining plan option and more declining balance dollars.
  • Plan C - $1,025/ semester: Any 100 meals per semester in the Main Café and $200 flexible spending dollars. *This plan is NOT available to first-year residential students; they must choose either Plan A or Plan B. This plan is designed for students who only eat on-campus a few times each week.
  • Plan D - $299/ semester: Any 30 meals per semester in the Main Café and $75 flexible spending dollars. *This plan is only available for commuter students although commuter students can choose any of the four meal plan options.

Frequently Asked Questions

If I don’t use up my entire meal plan, what happens?
If you have Plan A, B, or C your swipes and declining balance dollars expire at the end of each semester. Any balance will be forfeited. For the spring term, you will be re-enrolled in the same meal plan you had in the fall unless you notify Bon Appétit.

If you have the Commuter Plan, your swipes and declining balance dollars expire at the end of each semester. Any balance will be forfeited. Note: If you have a Commuter Plan for the fall, you will not be automatically re-enrolled for spring semester. Please contact Bon Appétit to add the Commuter Plan.

Can I change or cancel my meal plan?
Yes. All meal plan changes must take place within the first week of the term. Spring semester plans can be changed through Jan. 18, 2013. After this time, no changes are permitted. However, declining balance dollars may be added at any time in increments of $50 by visiting the Bon Appétit office in the Main Café.

What if I have a food allergy or dietary restriction?
Simply contact the Office of Student Life to schedule an appointment. They will meet with you to develop a custom dining plan. On rare occasions, when Food Services is unable to accommodate a medically documented dietary restriction, a student may be released from their meal plan obligation. Please contact the Office of Student Life during the first two weeks of the semester at 303.458.4086 for more information.

Regis University's Dining Services offers catering opportunities for on-campus events. Learn more about these available services by vsiting the Bon Apetit catering website.
