What is the money raised from the shuttle used for?
This shuttle service is a fundraiser for the Spring Break Service Trips programmed out of the Office of Student Activities. Each year, the Office of Student Activities sends students across the country to serve with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity to serve others over their Spring Break. Last year students built homes with Habitat for Humanity in New Mexico, Florida, Denver and Hawaii!
What are the hours of operation?
The shuttle runs 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. only on the specific dates listed. A shuttle departs Regis every hour and a half. The first shuttle leaves Regis at 9:00 a.m. and the last shuttle leaves DIA at 9:30 p.m.
How do I choose the right shuttle for my travel schedule?
When choosing the right shuttle for your travel arrangements, please take the following into consideration:
Where do I get on the shuttle at Regis?
- It takes roughly 30-45 mins to travel to DIA
- Thanksgiving & Christmas are high travel times
- Departure flights - calculate time to check bags and get through security
- Return flights - calculate time to pick up your bag (allow 30 minutes after arrival)
- We suggest arriving at the airport 2 hours prior to departure
The shuttle departs from Regis in parking lot #3. This is the parking lot just south of the Student Center. This is also where the shuttle will drop you off on your return to campus.
Where does the shuttle drop me off and pick me up at Denver International Airport?
Due to major construction at DIA, the shuttle will drop off students at the East Terminal. If your flight flies out of the West Terminal it is very easy to walk across the concourse to your flight counter. The shuttle will pick up students upon arrival to DIA on the east side on Level 4 around door #410. We will be in a Regis University marked white 12 passenger van. If we are in another vehicle, a sign will be placed in the front window.
What if my flight is delayed or canceled?
If your flight changes or is delayed please call us soon as possible so we can notify the shuttle driver and make sure that we can get you on another shuttle (if your pick up/drop off time falls during our days/hours of operation).
If during normal business hours (Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.), call the Office of Student Activities at 303.458.3505.
If after 5pm or during the weekend, call the professional staff member on call, Andra Bickel, at 903.274.5403.
If I have other questions where can I go to get them answered?
This shuttle service is sponsored by the Office of Student Activities so please stop by or call our office, Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with any questions. We are located on second floor of the Student Center and you can reach us at 303.458.3505.
