Student Coverage
Our student health insurance provides coverage for students who are in need of health coverage while enrolled in Regis University classes. Students are required to take six or more credit hours, be a traditional undergraduate student in Regis College. Select Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions students are eligible for student health insurance. Find more information below.
Student Health Insurance Requirements
All required students must access the Aetna Student Health website and either enroll in the Regis University Student Health Insurance plan or waive this coverage and provide proof of alternate, comparable health insurance coverage. If a student chooses to waive the University plan, he/she must do so before the first term on campus and every successive fall.
If a student fails to waive coverage by the appropriate deadlines, he/she will be enrolled in and billed for the University Student Health insurance plan.

• MS: Nursing, Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certificate
• Doctor of Physical Therapy
• Doctor of Pharmacy
• Doctor of Nursing Practice

Because of their tuition allocation, all traditional undergraduate students enrolled in Regis College and graduate students in the Masters of Biomedical Sciences as well as Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions Accelerated Nursing students, Doctor of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Pharmacy students are eligible to utilize Student Health Services.
Enrollment Period
New enrollments are accepted during the following designated enrollment periods:
Spring (1/1/13-8/21/13) - Enroll by February 10, 2013
Summer only 2013 (select programs; 5/5/13-8/21/13) - Enroll by June 5, 2013
Students requiring insurance must enroll in the plan online by visiting the Aetna Student Health website and clicking "Enroll/Waive."
NOTE: Students requiring insurance under 18 of age will need to complete this process on paper and obtain the signature of a parent or guardian. Please print the waiver form and mail it back to Regis University following the instructions therein.
