First-Year Profile
Enrollment
Regis College serves more than 1,800 traditional undergraduates, and 2,400 total full-time students. The 2012-2013 first-year enrollment was nearly 500 students.
Location
Regis University is located in Denver, Colorado and just minutes from downtown. A city ranked No. 3 on ePodunk.com's list of Great College Towns, Denver typically has 300 days of sunshine per year with mild temperatures throughout the year and very low humidity.
Faculty
There are over 116 full-time faculty, nearly all with earned doctorates or the highest degree in their field; 95 percent lay faculty; five percent Jesuit priests.
Class Size & Ratio
The average class size is 21, and the student to faculty ratio is 14 to 1, assuring personal attention in a student-friendly environment where teachers care about teaching and teach about caring.

- Regis University has produced two Rhodes Scholars. Mary Ann Lehmkuhle O’Hara, now a medical doctor, was recognized as an American Rhodes Scholar in 1988. William Gohl, Regis College Class of 2010, was awarded the Rhodes Scholarship and completed his studies at Oxford University.
- Regis University is one of 102 schools on the John Templeton Foundation Honor Roll for Character-Building Universities and Colleges.
- Since 2000, Regis University’s main campus has been designated an arboretum with more than 500 trees and shrubs.

Both Catholics and non-Catholics from many other denominations are evenly represented at Regis.

37 percent of incoming freshman attended private high schools; 63 percent attended public schools
