John Hubert teaches applied voice at Regis University. He is also the Director of Music at First Universalist Church of Denver and the Choir Director of the Spirituals Project Choir. John received his Master's in Vocal Performance from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He holds a Bachelor's in Music from Truman State University in Missouri.

In addition to John's extensive conducting experience, he is also an accomplished performer and teacher. John has been seen on the operatic and musical theater stages in such diverse roles as Papageno (Die Zauberflote), Le Mari (Les Mammelles de Tiresias), and the Pirate King (Pirates of Penzance). He is a lover of early music and has performed the works of Bach, Charpentier, and Monteverdi across the country.
