Tyler Farr teaches Applied Saxophone at Regis University. In addition to teaching at Regis, Tyler is a music educator at Mary E. Pennock Elementary in School District 27J.

Tyler is an active performer specializing in post bop/modern jazz. He has performed and recorded throughout the Rocky Mountain region and the Denver metro area with numerous jazz groups. Tyler has performed at international jazz festivals such as the Park City Jazz Festival, Reno Jazz Festival, and the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. Other performances include City Park Jazz, KUVO 89.3 performance studio and the Arvada Summer Concert series. He performs regularly with the Metropolitan Orchestra and his own group, Tyler Farr Quartet. Tyler has performed with several International jazz musicians including Eric Marienthal, Carl Saunders, Andy Martin, Ed Calle, and Jim McNeely. Tyler has had the opportunity to utilize his jazz theory and transcribing skills with publications in DownBeat Magazine and Saxophone Journal.
