Feeney named Academic All-RMAC Second Team; Six others Honorable Mention

Regis University women's basketball named seven to the Academic All-RMAC teams today.  Senior Sarah Feeney earned second team honors while six others were tabbed to the honorable mention team.

Feeney, a 6-1 forward originally from Bismarck, N.D., owns a 3.31 grade point average.  She currently studies Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Regis.

The forward also leads the Rangers on the court with 16.0 points per game, 7.5 rebounds per game and 20 total blocks.  She has had five games with more than 20 points and has a game high of 26 points.  She has also had three double-doubles this season in points and rebounds.

The Rangers had six receive honorable mention honors.  Seniors Kellie Deremo, Meghan Hollenga, Kara Larson and Kaitie Vader, junior Tae'lor Purdy and sophomore Sarah Seefeldt.

Deremo holds a 3.5 gpa in Business Management.  Hollenga has a 3.57 gpa in Social Sciences.  Larson is studying Biological and Biomedical Sciences and currently has a 3.37 gpa.  Vader holds a 3.62 gpa while studying Psychology.

Purdy is also studying Biological and Biomedical Sciences and holds a 3.4 grade points average while Seefeldt is undecided in her studies and holds a 3.8 grade point average.
